Sequim Arts, located in Sequim, Washington, is seeking entries for its annual juried art exhibit. Work in both 2D and 3D form will be accepted. Cash and merchandise prizes total over $1,500. The Sequim Arts Juried Show is an official event of the 2009 Sequim Irrigation Festival.
Linda Okazaki, juror
The Juror will be Linda Okazaki of Port Townsend, Washington. Linda Okazaki has taught in the Fine Arts Departments at Washington State University and Evergreen State College. Presently she serves on the Port Townsend Arts Commission. Okazaki’s figurative painting, drawing, printmaking and graphic design reflect her close ties to regional landscape. Her work is held in collections with the Washington State Arts Collection, King County Portable Works and the Seattle Art Museum, besides numerous other private collections. A non-refundable entry fee of is required for a maximum of five entries per artist. Digital submissions only via mailed CD or e-mail. Artists must be at least 18 years of age. The entry deadline is March 15, 2009.
