I retired to Sequim in November 2005. I had some health issues and when I recovered I joined Sequim Arts in the Spring of 2007. I knew I wanted to do some kind of art but what? I took a workshop that summer from Sue Fridley, and learned the basics of watercolor painting and the rest is history. I found out that I could paint; this wonderful world has opened up and it is absolutely amazing. |

| I have taken classes from local artists: Judy Priest, Kim Attwooll, Anna Nichols, Roxanne Grinstad, Pat Gordon, Mary Franchini, Don Tiller and have taken several other workshops from: Sharon Freeman, Patrice Bruez, Yuming Zhu, Linda Aman, Karlyn Holman, and Judy Morris. I am experimenting with new areas incorporating acrylics, pencils, goldleaf and inks, with watercolors. I enjoy painting vivid colors while capturing moments of nature.
