Artist Statement

Sallie moved to Washington from the Midwest in the ‘60s. She lives in Sequim where she pursues her printmaking by carving original art blocks inspired by her interest in wildlife, world travel and gardening. The pure, graphic quality of relief prints plus the endless capacity for experimenting with inks and handmade papers of various colors and textures attracted Sallie to this art form.

Sallie has received awards in juried and open shows and is pleased to have her art in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, Kenya, the South Pacific, Italy and Croatia. Examples of her art, exhibit schedule and additional information is available at
