Call for artists.
Artists are invited to enter the Museum & Arts Center and Sequim Arts Small Works Show fund raiser. The show will run from December 1 to December 22 at the Museum and Arts Center, 175 W. Cedar St., Sequim. All media will be accepted, including, but not limited to, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, pen & ink, pastel, collage, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, fine arts textiles, photography, etc.
All work must be 8 inches by 10 inches or smaller including the frame and be for sale. Three dimensional works must be no wider than 8 inches and no higher than 10 inches.
Entry fees are $10.00 for non members for up to three pieces. Sequim Arts and MAC members have a discounted fee of $5 for up to 3 pieces. Artwork will be accepted on November 30 from 9 am to 12 pm. Applications are available at the Sequim Museum and Arts Center or on line at www.sequimarts.org or www.macsequim.org
All entries must be priced for sale and 25% of the selling price will be shared between Sequim Arts and the MAC as part of their holiday fund raiser. Those artists who wish to donate all of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork are encouraged to do so. The proceeds will go to help fund the many art activities of both organizations including demonstrations, classes, exhibits, and scholarships.
