Sharing Studio with #11, Pat Gordon: West on US101, left on Taylor-Cutoff Rd, left on Fish Hatchery Rd then immediate right onto Sturdevant Rd which becomes Glenns Valley Rd. Follow Glenns Valley Rd to end, keeping to the left. Demonstration: Painting with watercolors throughout the tour.

Artist Statement: Richard S. O'Connor, born & raised in Queens N.Y.C. Lived in upstate N.Y. {Syracuse} for 33 years and raised a family. Enjoyed the outdoors a great deal. Before moving to the North West in 1985, the mid atlantic states were my home & living. Became a Jeweler and designed a great deal. Bought and operated a Jewelry store in Port Townsend till retirement in 2001. Retirement did not do it, so---- took up watercolor painting in earnest and became a member of Sequim Arts. I entered the Sequim Arts juried show this spring and achieved a Merit award. Guess I'm stuck now… loving every minute of it too. |
