Why Become a Member?
Sequim Arts membership is the most direct way to support the creative life of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley. Dues fund the programs, events, and advocacy work that make this region one of Washington's most active small-town arts communities. They also get you something most nonprofit memberships don't: genuine engagement with a network of painters, ceramicists, sculptors, and makers who live and work on the Olympic Peninsula.
Members aren't passive supporters. They're the people who help hang exhibitions before First Friday, who mentor teenagers in the Youth Arts program, and who show up at city council meetings to speak for arts funding. This organization runs on their energy as much as their contributions.

How to Join
Membership applications are accepted year-round. You can join by:
- Email: Send your name, preferred membership level, and mailing address to [email protected]. We'll send payment instructions within one business day.
- Mail: Send a check payable to "Sequim Arts" with your contact information to PO Box 1321, Sequim, WA 98382.
- In person: Visit us during office hours (Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM) or at any First Friday Art Walk.
Memberships are valid for twelve months from the date of enrollment. We send renewal reminders by email approximately one month before expiration.
Membership Benefits in Detail
Online Directory Listing
Artist members receive a profile in our searchable directory, which visitors, collectors, and curators use to find working artists in the Sequim area. Each listing includes your name, medium, artist statement, and a link to your website or portfolio.
Workshop Discounts
Members save 15 to 20 percent on community workshops. With more than fifty sessions offered each year in media ranging from watercolor to ceramics to printmaking, the savings add up quickly. Many members report that workshop discounts alone cover the cost of annual dues.
Gallery Previews
Arts Patron and higher members receive invitations to private exhibition previews held before public openings. These events are a chance to see new work first, meet exhibiting artists in an intimate setting, and support the downtown galleries that anchor our community.
Your Dues at Work
Every dollar of membership revenue goes directly to program delivery and organizational operations. In the past fiscal year, member dues supported:
- 52 free community Art Walks drawing over 4,000 attendees
- 56 paid workshops serving 380 participants
- Youth Arts programming for 85 young people
- Stipends for four Artist Residency fellows
- Marketing and outreach that brings visitors to Sequim galleries
